I am a scientist, motivational speaker, and expedition leader. After completing my undergraduate degree in 2011, I set off to explore East Asia. Later, I spent time as the senior editor for an education consultancy, science teacher, bike mechanic, and coffee roaster. I returned to science in 2014, studying marine biology, tagging sharks and counting fish.
I am currently pursuing a PhD in neuroscience. I have led numerous teams on outdoor adventures and international missions trips. Taking people into an unfamiliar environment in the context of relationship allows them to reassess the way they view themselves and the world. The expeditions I lead and talks I give encourage people to discover their identity and live full lives of emotional, relational, and physical health.
